Brand Kits

Keep a brand's logos, colours, fonts, reference pictures and rules in one place, so the images and videos Yori makes stay on brand.

A brand kit is the visual side of a Brand Profile: its logos, colours, fonts, reference pictures and rules. Tag a brand kit in Image and video and Yori picks the right pieces for each picture or video, so the result looks like the brand.

Each Brand Profile can have one brand kit. A kit is shared the same way as its Brand Profile, and only the person who created the profile can change it.

Where to find it

  • Open Knowledge, select Brand profiles, then the Brand kits tab.
  • On a Brand Profile, select Brand kit to open its kit, or Make a brand kit if it doesn't have one yet.
  • In Image and video, select Brand kits at the top right of the page.

The Brand kits tab shows one card per kit with its logo, how many pieces it has and when it was last updated. Select a card to open the kit. Use the card's More button to Open it, Use in Image and video, Open brand profile or Delete it.

Make a brand kit

  1. Select New brand kit.

  2. Under Create from, choose how to start:

    Option What Yori does
Website Reads the website for its logos, colours, fonts and pictures. It keeps every version of the logo the site shows, such as an anniversary logo, and, when it can, makes a version for dark backgrounds if the site has none. Pictures come in at their full size.
Brand files Reads PDF brand guides and pictures you upload, up to 20. Export Figma files as PDF first.
Blank Makes an empty kit for you to fill in.
  3. Choose the Brand profile the kit belongs to.

  4. Select Create brand kit.

A blank kit opens straight away. From a website or files, the card shows Building brand kit with the step Yori is on:

  1. Reading your brand material
  2. Picking logos, colours and fonts
  3. Adding reference images and guidelines
  4. Writing the brand description

It usually takes about a minute. You can close the window and Yori keeps going. Building a kit uses a small amount of credit. If it can't finish, the card says Couldn't build.

Choosing a profile that already has a kit rebuilds it. Pieces you added yourself stay.

What's inside a brand kit

Open a kit to see its sections on the left.

Section What it holds
Overview The brand description and a preview of every section. Select the description to edit it. Yori reads it before every picture and video.
Logos Logo files. Yori puts the real file on every picture. It never redraws your logo.
Colours Each colour with a name, its code and what it's for, such as Main colour or Backgrounds.
Fonts Fonts with what they're for: Headlines, Body or Details. Google Fonts show a sample sheet.
Reference images Pictures in the style you want. Add as many as you can. Yori picks the best ones for each request.
Guidelines Do and Don't rules every picture and video must follow, including any words in them.
Voices and Captions Coming soon.

Add and change pieces

On Overview, select Add and choose Logo, Colour, Font, Reference image or Guideline. Each section also has its own add button.

  • Logos and Reference images take PNG, JPEG, WebP and SVG files.
  • For a colour, pick it or paste its code, such as 2BD2CA, then give it a name and say what it's for.
  • For a font, type its name and choose what it's used for.
  • For a rule, select Add guideline, type it and select Add.

To change or remove a piece, hover it and select its Piece options button, then Edit or Remove. Give pictures a clear name and description. Yori reads them when it picks pieces for a request.

Use a brand kit

  • Select Use this brand kit in the kit window, or Use in Image and video on its card.
  • Or in Image and video, type @ in the prompt or select Brand kit.

See Keep it on brand for what Yori does with the kit.

Delete a brand kit

Open the kit, select Brand kit options, then Delete brand kit. Or use Delete on its card. Pictures and videos already made with it stay as they are. Deleting a Brand Profile deletes its brand kit too.
